Prudential enters Singapore Book of Records with country’s longest-ever prosperity toss

Prudential enters singapore book of records with countries

Singapore, 21 February 2018 – A new entry in the Singapore Book of Records was created today as Prudential Singapore (Prudential) welcomed the Lunar New Year with Singapore’s longest-ever prosperity salad toss (Yu Sheng).

More than 800 Prudential employees tossed their way through a 343-meter long dragon-themed Yu Sheng arrangement that trailed across Prudential Singapore’s corporate office, PRU Workplayce.

Mr Andreas Rosenthal, Chief Financial Officer, Prudential Singapore, who accepted the Singapore Book of Records title on behalf of Prudential, said that colleagues enjoyed participating in this unique and tasty experience.

“Setting the record really brings out our innovative spirit and we had a lot of fun in the process. Such celebrations are important in bringing us closer together. When we build strong bonds, we build a more successful business. We would like to wish all our people, and our customers and partners, good health and fortune in the year ahead.”

The record set by Prudential surpasses a previously established record of 292 meters for an outdoor arrangement that was set in 2017.
