In 2018, the Ministry of Health announced guidelines for policyholders to co-pay a minimum of 5% on medical claims made from their Integrated Shield Plan (IP) riders, to help address rising healthcare and health insurance costs in Singapore.
In line with these guidelines and to ensure that we can continue to sustainably provide affordable coverage to our customers, customers with selected plans will now need to co-pay for their hospitalisation and treatments with effect from 1 April 2021.

Under the PRUExtra Preferred CoPay plan, if a private hospital or private medical institution is not listed under either Panel or Non-Panel, the claim will not be admissible.
Please refer to the policy document for more information.
We reserve the right to change this Panel or Non-Panel list from time to time.
